Established in 1895, Ackerman's has achieved a world wide reputation for quality and integrity in the piano restoration, refinishing, and rebuilding industry.  We can repair any piano. 

In fact, our restoration & finishing facilities are "state of the art".  Enabling us to spray modified acrylic lacquers, aniline dyes, Danspeen catalyzed lacquers, and bleachtone.  To you the customer this means "color and finish of the period".  as well as a moisture and alcohol resistant finish, with color that defines the grain character.  All of this for a quality price,  which is unsurpassed!

All of the pianos for sale in our showroom be it new, pre-owned or restored go through a 16 point inspection to ensure quality and sound.  We would have it no other way. 

This in no way means that our prices are higher than other piano sales companies, in fact its the opposite, in some cases our prices are so low that we have been asked not to place the sales prices of our new pianos on the internet!

How can the prices be so low?  The answer to that is simple, Due to the quality workmanship and price, our restoration and finishing facilities are in high demand, and since we dont see the need for a commissioned salesman, we dont need to sell at the "HOLY COW" rates.
