In the Family Since 1895

Ackerman's Piano has a rich history beginning in 1895 when our founder, Daniel Gephart, first opened the "Gephart Furniture Store and Mortuary" in Lakeville, Minnesota. Beginning as a large retail space in what is now known as the "Lakeville Mall", part of the company was later sold to the White Family; Who now carry the mantle for providing the community with funeral services. The fourth generation of Ackerman's servicing the industry would later break into two specialties: one for home furniture and the other exclusively for pianos. Today Ackerman's Piano is owned and operated by a fifth generation of Ackermans;
